Before buying - My way to Hüsler Nest
The term 'natural bed' refers to a bed that is made of purely natural and above all untreated materials. Cotton, wood, and pure natural latex (rubber) are the materials used. Natural beds are 100 per cent free of harmful substances, without the use of chemical agents like fungicides, and are produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. A natural bed contains no metal. Look out for certifications, and for the promotion of sleep hygiene through easy-care materials.
Natural materials can be of animal or plant origin. If they are processed untreated in their original structure, the natural functions of the material are preserved. Textiles made of natural materials are antibacterial, dirt-repellent and odour-neutralising, as well as breathable and water-binding. Virgin sheep’s wool, alpaca, and camel hair as well as linen meet these requirements. On contact with oxygen, and ideally with high humidity, the cell structures open up and trapped dirt is released. After being shaken out vigorously, textiles are then fresh again.

A Hüsler Nest sleeping system accompanies you for a lifetime. As each component of the sleeping system has a different lifespan, the system has been designed in such a way that all components are individually exchangeable and replaceable.
The unique Liforma spring unit, the Futon spring unit and all frame inserts are manufactured at the Hüsler Nest headquarters in Grenchen, Switzerland.
The mattresses, textiles and bed frames are manufactured for Hüsler Nest by selected partner companies, according to strict quality criteria.
You can recognise an original Swiss natural bed by its multi-layered structure. The structure consists of a frame insert, the unique Liforma spring unit or Futon spring unit, the natural latex mattress, and the overlay. You will find the Hüsler Nest logo on all these products.
If you are interested in a second-hand Hüsler Nest, always ask to see the original invoice and be aware that without expert advice you may be making a mistake.
